Doctoral Degree Program (PhD)

The PhD program in Horticultural Science and Engineering represents the highest level of academic training in this discipline and focuses on advanced scientific research and technological development in the production, improvement, and postharvest management of horticultural crops. The program offers two specialized tracks:

Production and Postharvest Physiology of Horticultural Plants

This track aims to educate specialists with advanced knowledge of plant physiology who are capable of addressing scientific and technical challenges across the entire value chain of horticultural crops-from production to postharvest handling, marketing, and consumption. Research areas include seed production and processing, applied plant physiology, mechanisms of growth, flowering and yield, plant stress physiology, and postharvest physiology and technology.
